This week the specs for Amlogic's new chipset (S912) finally appeared online - which means that the first device using S912 is still weeks away and S905 is here to stay.

And here's the newest member of the S905 family! Q-Box comes with an unique design and took the "Kodi-compatible" message all Mini PC's released this year had to a new level: there's a dedicated button for Kod right on the remote.

Overall Q-Box looks like a strong box, with a design that moves away from the plutoon of other S905 devices and specs that match the more expensive ones. Placing the SD card slot just below HDMI might be a problem if you want to change it often, though, as you'll have to power off the device, remove the HDMI cable and only after that insert/remove the SD card
