OpenELEC on several Geniatech devicesGeniatech has been secretly working on providing an OpenELEC-based firmware for several devices they sell under the MyGica brand and it's ready for a test-drive. OpenELEC is a tiny Linux-based OS created with one single purpose: to run Kodi. A device that runs OpenELEC will boot straight to Kodi and all unnecessary processes are removed, making Kodi appear faster. So if you use your Mini PC mainly for Kodi, OpenELEC is definitely worth looking at.
There are already OpenELEC-based firmware releases for ATV582, ATV1800, ATV387, ATV181 and ATV585/ATV185 and there could be a version for ATV1900 as well.

Xtreamer WinKey

Xtreamer WinKeyXtreamer is the latest to join the Intel Z3735F battlefield. No doubt the Intel Z3735F is the most popular SoC this year (and yes, I know it's only August). Xtreamer is well-known for their fanless devices, so it makes sense that Xtreamer WinKey is fanless also.
Xtreamer WinKey has 2Gb of RAM and 32Gb eMMc storage, and unlike the other devices it has a full Intel Z3735F USB 2.0 Host next to the Micro USB.
