Meet Beelink M18 and Beelink MX64, two new Amlogic S905 Mini PCs
New Amlogic S905 devices from Beelink: M18 and MX64
Beelink had a good year, with several devices announced, including a few that got quite popular overseas (like Beelink P1 and Beling P2, which are based on Intel Z3735F).
But now the hottest platform is Amlogic S905, and Beelink decided to launch not one, but two Mini PC's with this SoC: Beelink M18 and Beelink MX64.
Both Beelink Amlogic S905 TV boxes have 2GB of RAM, quad core 64-bit ARM Cortex-A53 CPU (up to 2.0GHz) with penta-core Mali-450MP GPU, 2.4G / 5.8G WiFi and Gigabit Ethernet (which means they both are using the better S905 platform).
S905 is known for for it's HDMI 2.0 output, which promises up to 4K/2160p @ 60Hz or 3D-HD 1080Px2 and 10-bit HEVC (H.265) hardware decoding.
Devices are both running Android 5.1.
Basically the biggest difference between them is the ROM size (MX64 has 8Gb while M18 has 16 Gb). Beelink M18 might also benefit from an external wi-fi antenna, which doesn't appear on the MX64 images.
