Zidoo's 5th model to date is using he low-cost RK3229 SoC from Rockchip and comes as an update to the Zidoo X1 Mini PC, which used an Alwinner H3 SoC, using the same casing - but this time they went with a bolder color and used yellow instead of silver.
Being a Zidoo product we expect great things from the little device: all Zidoo devices have better than average support and come with features that might look small at first, but add up to the overall experience.
X1-II comes in the same stylish white box with minimal details printed on it - just the product name and a few icons (4K, 3D, Quad core, ZIUI, Wifi, 10bit/H.265 and ZDMC - first time I've seen ZDMC mentioned on a product.
The product and accessories are kept in 2 separate containers.
On the Zidoo X1-II accessories list we can find a small IR remote (with several programmable keys), HDMI cable, power adapter. There's also an user manual and warranty card.
Zidoo X1-II comes in the same casing as the previous generation, made out of a good quality plastic that looks glossy without attracting fingerprints.
All ports are located on the back - from left to right we have an AV port, the HDMI port, an USB port, the Ethernet port and another USB port just above the SD card port.
